Welcome to Linuxgruven

Hello. You've stumbled upon the personal website of Ben Hall.  Besides being a Systems Specialist in the School of Computing at Queen's, I am the current president of the Kingston Jazz Society, part of the Williamsville Neighbourhood association, a proud Kingstonian, and a co-owner of GoSaBe Development and Design.

As the domain name suggests, my site began as a very Linux-centric place. Since its inception in 1999, my site has grown to include many other things that I find interesting. In addition to a few software projects, I've got a fairly extensive photo gallery, RIAA/MPAA rants and reviews for hardware and software that I have used over the years. I started playing the bass a while ago and have added a music section as well.

Sad to say, these days this site doesn't change too much.  I spend more of my time trying to encourage jazz in Kingston or occasionally adding a post to my company's blog. Now at GoSaBe!
